HI Friends! I have an Etsy Traffic/Pinterest question for you guys and Nancy Badillo ….
When I look at my traffic stats, I get about 4-5% of my etsy traffic from Social media and most of that is from Pinterest.
I definitely want to drive more traffic to my shop, and know that I need to post/pin more regularly.
My question is… I shoot mostly landscape photography, and I shoot mostly in a horizontal orientation (like the top image in the card below), so most of my pins are short, and horizontal.
I know that pinterest likes long pins (vertical orientation). I watched Nancy’s video on making a beautiful pin, but wasn’t sure how to apply it to my business. I have made cards like the one below and added them to a couple my listing photos so that I can pin it off of my shop, but not sure if this looks good for Pinterest?
I pin my other mockups as well (like the ones in the bottom photos on this card), and some of those are vertical.
I seems no matter what I do, I rarely get more than 3-4% of my traffic from Pinterest and I would love to increase it and feel like I know what I’m doing!
Any advice is greatly appreciated! Thanks, Angel McNall
