Follow up to my previous post from August 9.
One week into the experiment with Etsy Ads for Step Stools.
20,600 ad views, 70 clicks, 1 order, $129 revenue, $18.46 spent. Approx 7x ROAS.
In addition, I’ve sold another step stool from organic search for $171.
I’m researching the value of using the “Safety Warning” graphic as the first photo. I have 8 listings I’m advertising – 2 “Safety Warning” listings (25%) and 6 “normal” listings (75%). As far as ad-clicks go, the 2 “Safety Warning” listings have gotten 22 out of 70 clicks (31%) AND the $129 sale was from this ad.
To expand the experiment, I’m adding two listings. I’ve designed a new step stool and I’m advertising both listings – one with a “Critical Safety Hazard” first photo, and one with a product photo.
I also took advice from people in the group and improved the graphic for the “Critical Safety Hazard” photo.
