ETA: I have been educated and have changed my stance on tracking! I will be printing Etsy labels after learning the one I need is 55 cents, not $3. Thanks! I’m keeping this open so others can learn from my experience.
I put out a poll on my store Instagram and received pretty split answers on tracking numbers. I know Etsy recommends tracking numbers on all products over $10, but the bulk of my sales are sent in small letter-sized envelopes and I’ve been using stamps.
Has anyone offered a product with an option to add a tracking number for an additional charge? I don’t want to raise prices on my customer base if more of them don’t want tracking, but I’m also not thrilled about giving myself a paycut to offer tracking.
